Hello and welcome to the Natural Health Centre!
In a career spanning over forty years as a drug adviser and patient-care Counsellor, I have been in countless, face to face situations requiring me to draw on my knowledge of herb/drug interactions.
Almost a decade ago, I came to the realisation that my daily routine of providing this information, with appropriate advice, did not meet the needs of many of the patients with whom I was dealing.Poor outcomes, including drug-induced ( iatrogenic) disease, tardy compliance to their Doctor\'s directions and a disillusion about the dollar-driven programmes of the big drug Companies, compelled me to look side-ways.!
On many occasions, I found terminally ill patients, similarly dis-illusioned about the promises of prescription medicines. Many asked me about alternatives, in a poignant attempt to hang on to life. I didn\'t have the knowledge they sought, and I resolved to do something about it! Many of those people pressed me to source and advise on the relevance of so-called "alternative therapies", and my quest for that supplementary knowledge was prompted by my desire to help.
Now, years later, I feel I have the competence and experience in both fields of medication, to make a difference to the lives of other people, faced with the same dilemmas.It\'s not just about remedial therapies, but also about being pro-active in matters of health and addressing the range of clinical conditions, which confront us,on a daily basis:Ill-health has no regard for wealth or status!

Over the years, they have provided elements of the health mix, together with Iridologists,Yogi,Reiki Practitioners,Physiotherapists, General Practitioners and a range of those with skills in other modalities, to formulate a broad-based health plan.
In an era in which the motto,"what we eat , is what we are!" has to be re-defined to include the "cocktail" of additives,preservatives,leisure and prescribed drugs,foods which have been genetically-modified or cosmetically enhanced etc., you are entitled to be educated about their effects, individually AND collectively!

The Centre is located in the Fyshwick Freshfood Markets at Shop 12 Dalby Street,Fyshwick ACT 2609.A wide range of fresh organic fruit and vegetables is available every Thursday to Sunday, inclusive.The Markets are open from 8am to 5.30pm on those trading days.We look forward to seeing you then!
